Jerry Garcia and the bassist on this tune, Chuck Rainey, played on the same album in 1973, although not on any of the same tunes! On Merl Saunders’ “Fire Up” album, released in 1973, both John Kahn and Chuck Rainey played bass - but John Kahn played bass with Jerry on all the tracks he was featured on. Had to get out some noodles on my SG before I re-wire and re-configure in a better way! This test run had its place but time to make things a little fancier with some brass. I reused a lick, note
