May 26, 2010 · Supposedly, the kid already knows karate, so he's called the "karate kid" by the Chinese kids as an insult. Then the karate kid learns kung fu so he can kick better ass. Because apparently karate is for pussies, or something.

The maximum mat time a teenager would get at a Karate school would be around 3 hours a week (based on multiple Google searches of classes offered). So if Johnny trained 3 hours a week for four years (and took a reasonable four weeks off a year for holidays, injuries and other commitments), his training total by December ‘84 would be- 576 hours.

Feb 9, 2021 · Actually he WAS an extra in the original Karate Kid. I was just watching Kobra Kai season 4 Episode 10 and during a flash back scene to the original Karate Kid I saw Tom Cruise in the audience…very young Tom Cruise but nevertheless it was DEFINITELY him.

In my opinion karate kid 2 is the best karate kid but karate kid 3 is still entertaining and has its own amazing moral lessons. People say that Daniel shouldn’t have been afraid of mike barnes but I disagree.
