Two attorneys representing Rudy Giuliani in a lawsuit related to a $148 million defamation judgment against him have asked a judge to remove them from the case over disagreements with the former New York City mayor.

The attorneys who've been defending Rudy Giuliani in a case seeking to force him to turn over his assets to two former election worker he defamed are asking a judge permission to drop him as a client.

As the threat of civil contempt hangs over their client’s head, attorneys for Rudy Giuliani told a judge they want to stop representing him in a case involving a $148 million debt Giuliani owes to two election workers he defamed in 2020.
