Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sudhanshu Trivedi on Saturday launched a blistering attack at LoP Rahul Gandhi over the circulation of an anti-Modi advertisement ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to New York.

BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya shared the alleged anti-Modi poster on his X handle which said the Prime Minister was not welcome in New York. Modi is on a three-day US visit from Saturday.

Addressing a public gathering during the ‘PM Vishwakarma’ programme in Wardha, Maharashtra, Modi said that this was not the same old Congress. "The spirit of patriotism has died in today's Congress. The ghost of hatred has entered today's Congress," he said.

Prime Minister Narendra embarked on a three-day visit to the US to attend a summit of the grouping and address a key conclave at the United Nations.

The Congress has allied with Farooq Abdullah's National Conference, which favours talks with Pakistan and restoration of Article 370.
