SpiceJet’s Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) worth ₹3,000 crore was oversubscribed, the airline informed today via an exchange filing. In addition to the QIP, the company secured an additional ₹736 crore from the previous funding round, bolstering the cash-strapped airline's financial position.

The floor price for the QIP has been fixed as Rs 109.16 per share, which marks a discount of 2.1% against the current market price.

SpiceJet has raised Rs 3,000 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP, which was oversubscribed by top-tier institutional investors, and will also receive an additional Rs 736 crore from a previous round.
