Say what you want about Bronny James and whether he deserved to get drafted by the Lakers on his own merit, but this is an extremely mature young man who is easy to root for and is, oh by the way, showing he can be a pretty damn good basketball player in the NBA's G League.

Playing in his first G League game since Dec. 21, Bronny James scored a career-high 31 points to lead the  South Bay Lakers past the Rip City Remix 122-110.

The Bronny James experiment appears to be going well for the Lakers as the rookie turned in a career-best performance in the G-League – including a poster jam.

Bronny James hit the first three-pointer of his NBA career in the Lakers' win over the Clippers, giving Savannah James a proud mom moment.

Their offense couldn't miss, firing on all cylinders, and their defense was a brick wall, allowing less than 100 points in three of their last five games. The Lakers were up big by the end of the first quarter and did not look back.

With the 55th overall pick, the Lakers selected LeBron's son, Bronny James, marking the first father-son duo in league history. Bronny, 20, has spent a good amount of time in the G League this season.
