What's the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day?
In the United States, Memorial Day's purpose is to honor military members who have died, while Veterans Day recognizes the service of all of America's veterans. Memorial Day is always observed on the last Monday in May, which, this year, falls on May 29, 2023. Veterans Day is always observed on Nov. 11.
