Consensus of the computer forecast models show that the robust Tropical Disturbance south of the Dominican Republic will develop and eventually organize into a tropical depression or tropical storm.

There are currently no named storms across the Atlantic Basin. However, tropical development is still possible as we approach the last month of hurricane season. A disturbance is being monitored in the SW Caribbean.

With just under three weeks from the end of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, the National Hurricane Center is tracking yet another new tropical disturbance in the western Caribbean Sea, according to its latest update.
