Cardiff City forward Cian Ashford's 19th-minute striker was enough to earn his side a 1-0 win over Sheffield United in their FA Cup third round match at Bramall Lane.

Cardiff have been eliminated from the FA Cup seven times across the last nine times they’ve faced sides from Yorkshire, with the exceptions being a 2-1 win against Leeds in the 2001-02 third round, and a 1-0 win over Barnsley in the 2007-08 semi-final.
