KILLINGTON, Vt. - A dramatic rescue took place last week at a ski resort in Vermont when an eight-year-old boy became stranded while dangling from a chairlift. The Killington Ski Resort's ski patrol responded, using a sling and a catch net to safely bring him down.
8-year-old snowboarder rescued from lift at Killington Ski Resort
Killington Ski Resort said an 8-year-old snowboarder was saved from a ski lift on Wednesday. The resort says the minor was not harmed. At 12:12 p.m., the child, along with 3 other people, were loaded onto the Ramshead Express Quad Chair Lift. The resort said the child, who was saved, was not fully seated while leaving the loading area.
