CBI officials probing the financial scam at RG Kar Medical College & Hospital have traced crucial clues of the “influential nexus” of its former and controversial Principal Sandip Ghosh from his two mobile phones and two laptops.

Some records pertaining to the rape and murder case of a post-graduate trainee doctor at RG Kar medical college and hospital were 'falsely created' and ‘altered’ at the Tala police station in Kolkata,

Observing that the nature and gravity of accusation levelled against Ghosh is so grave, the special CBI court said that it can lead to capital punishment if proved.

A designated CBI court, while denying, has observed that the nature and gravity of the accusation against him is grave and could attract capital punishment if proved.
