There are a lot of question marks regarding the New York Jets heading into the offseason, after a lackluster year that involved the firing of head coach Robert Saleh, moving on from general manager Joe Douglas and rumors that quarterback Aaron Rodgers could be gone after this year.

Wilson reports began in early December but no one will really know what is going to happen any time soon. The Jets haven’t even hired a new head coach or general manager. Those two people in New York will factor in massively in any decisions Wilson, Rodgers, or the Jets make.

The 24-year-old pass catcher has quickly become a star since being drafted by the Jets with the 10th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Not only is he on pace for a third straight 1,000-yard season in 2024, but he's also scored a career-high six touchdowns. Wilson is eligible for a contract extension this coming spring.

Prior to the blowout defeat, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that there could be some weight to rumors that Wilson might want to be traded this offseason… and Rodgers might have something to do with it. Per Rap Sheet, Wilson could ask to be moved this offseason if Rodgers ends up returning to New York for the 2025 season:
