Michigan State basketball enters the last two weeks of the regular season atop the Big Ten standings. But the Spartans aren't alone in the title hunt.

The Big Ten basketball standings experienced a major shift over the weekend. Michigan State defeated first-place Michigan on the road on Friday night, overtaking the top rival and claiming the conference's top spot.

The Spartans (22-5, 13-3 Big Ten) erased a four-point halftime deficit by outscoring Michigan 41-24 after the break, leaning on their defense and depth to stall the Wolverines (20-6, 12-3). Jase Richardson led Michigan State with 21 points and Tre Holloman notched 18.
