At about 3:46 a.m., Clackamas Fire crews were called out to a fire at 419 Main Street. The fire is on the Blue Heron property, which is an abandoned paper mill now owned by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde as part of their reclaiming of ancestral homelands. A second alarm has been called to bring in more resources.

OREGON CITY, Ore. — Firefighters are responding to a large fire at the old Blue Heron paper mill on Main Street in Oregon City. 99E is currently closed to Oregon City. Dozens of emergency units are responding to the fire. Clackamas Fire told KGW that crews are working to knock it down. There have been no reports of injuries, Clackamas Fire said.
