Colorado's already seeing feet of snow to kick off the holiday season, and animals at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs are enjoying it. This 19-year-old grizzly bear named Emmet was caught catching snowflakes on his tongue as he reclined in the snow on Wednesday,

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has two different grizzly bears, Emmitt and Digger. The zoo said Emmitt is 19 years old. Emmitt and Digger were adopted into the zoo in 2007 after being labeled as ‘nuisance bears’ at around two or three years old.

Periods of snow, some of it moderate to heavy, overnight with gusty north winds. Lows will drop into the teens, 20s and 30s. Snow continues on Wednesday with some breaks possible, especially north of highway 50 in the afternoon and evening. Highs will top out in the 20s and 30s in most areas.

Emmett, a fan-favorite grizzly bear at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (CMZoo), has been enjoying some of the recent snowfall probably more than a lot of us who have to shovel it and drive in it. CMZoo sent a video to FOX21 News of Emmett relaxing in the snow and eating snowflakes.
