A Philadelphia father is calling his son a “superhero” for shielding his younger sister when a medevac jet crashed in a Philadelphia neighborhood, showering flames and debris on homes and the vehicle in which the family was riding. The boy suffered a serious head wound and is recovering.

SOUTHPORT, Ind.–Several Southport High School students were injured during a chemistry class on Thursday. A large glass bottle shattered causing minor injuries to a few students and a teacher.

A Perry Township Schools spokesperson confirmed "a few" Southport High School students were injured Thursday during chemistry class. The spokesperson said a large glass bottle shattered during chemistry lab,

"We are working on contacting all parents involved, but wanted to let you know because I'm sure many students are talking about it," an email stated.
