Tiger Woods has officially debuted in TGL, a joint venture with fellow golfer Rory McIlroy, with his team, Jupiter Links GC. The team-based, technology-infused league features a 3-on-3 format that pits the sport's best golfers against one another in a two-hour match inside SoFi Center's custom-built venue.

The newly formed Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL) had its best match so far on Monday with Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links claiming a 4-3 overtime victory against fellow co-founder Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common.

Scottie Scheffler, the world's No.1 golfer and Masters champion, has confessed that he hasn't had much time to watch the newly-launched TGL, having chosen not to participate in the simulator league.

TGL gave golf fans a taste of its new overtime format as the finale to the matchup between Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links and Rory McIlroy's Boston Common.

Tiger Woods and his Jupiter Links Golf Club team prevailed in overtime 4-3 over Rory McIlroy's Boston Common Golf squad in the best match yet of the inaugural TGL season. The indoor golf contest was tight throughout but Woods' teammates Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner came up with clutch shots in overtime to deliver the win.

Rory McIlroy’s former agent Andrew Chandler has called on Tiger Woods to retire completely from professional golf as he is “damaging his legacy”. The American legend has most recently been competing in his TGL league, before gearing up to compete at the Masters, but he has just one Major win since 2008.

"That was awesome. That was so cool," Rory McIlroy said to Tiger Woods as they walked off the green Monday after their TGL match was decided.

Boston Common Golf, led by Rory McIlroy, may have lost to Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club team in overtime on Monday, but the newly-launched TMRW Golf League (TGL) was probably the real winner amid the best match of the inaugural season so far.
