The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for much of the Bay Area​, from Monday night through Wednesday morning.

A wind advisory was issued by the NWS San Francisco CA on Monday at 8:37 p.m. The advisory is for Coastal North Bay Including Point Reyes National Seashore, North Bay Interior Valleys, San Francisco Bay Shoreline and East Bay Interior Valleys as well as San Francisco County.

On Monday at 10:49 a.m. the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued a wind advisory valid for Monday between noon and 7 p.m. The advisory is for West Carteret, East Carteret, Coastal Onslow, Ocracoke Island and Hatteras Island.

A wind advisory is in effect for parts of the Bay Area Tuesday. The advisory went into effect at 7 p.m. Monday night and will remain in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
