Razzie Awards nominations are in, "led" by 'Borderlands,' 'Joker: Folie a Deux.' 'Madame Web,' 'Megalopolis' and 'Reagan'

Joker: Folie à Deux leads the Razzie Awards noms, which recognize the worst movies and performances of the year, with a total of seven mentions. Borderlands, Madame Web, Megalopolis and Reagan followed with six noms apiece, it was announced Tuesday. Unfrosted landed with four noms, while The Crow nabbed two noms.

The nominees for the best of the worst of cinema – the awards known as the Razzies – were released Tuesday, and the oft-derided "Joker" sequel led the pack.

Not only was "Joker 2" a box office bomb, but the Todd Phillips sequel has now garnered a near-sweep of every award for this year's Razzies.

The Razzies, an awards ceremony that originated back in 1980s, recognises the ‘best of the worst’ and takes place every year a day before the Oscars. Unsurprisingly, the sequel to Joker, Folie A Deux, led the way with 7 nominations, including worst actor and actress nominations for Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.

The other films rounding out the five Worst Picture nominees were video game adaptation Borderlands and Dennis Quaid vanity project/biopic Reagan. All five movies were also well-represented in additional categories including Worst Actor, Worst Actress and Worst Screen Combo.
