Naomi Osaka says she has hired Patrick Mouratoglou as her new coach as she doesn’t want to have any career “regrets” – despite initial hesitation over the move.

Naomi Osaka admitted that she was initially hesitant to hire Patrick Mouratoglou as her coach because she wondered how it would all look if she worked with such "a big persona" but then got to know him a bit and realized that it was probably worth giving a shot.

Mouratoglou guided Serena Williams during the final decade of her career and will now hope to help re-establish Osaka as a grand slam force
