The Tampa Bay Buccaneers outscored the New Orleans Saints 27-0 the first time they played. On Sunday, much more was at stake and the Bucs outscored the Saints 21-3 after the break en route to a 27-19 win that gave them the NFC South title.

The Buccaneers and the Falcons were the final two teams still alive in the NFC playoff picture but yet to clinch a spot. Tampa Bay held a one-game lead in the NFC South while Atlanta owned the head-to-head tiebreaker, putting first place in the division up for grabs on the final day of regular season play.
