Man convicted in 1990 Wichita kidnapping now released on parole
WEBPosted January 20, 2021. A man convicted for his role in the kidnapping and murder of a 9-year-old Wichita girl is now out on parole. A parole had been approved for 57-year-old Donald Wacker, who was convicted of kidnapping and aiding a felon. Prosecutors said Wacker helped Doil Lane in the 1990 kidnapping of Nancy Shoemaker in Wichita.
McConnell Air Force Base announces air show, open house

The event will be held Saturday, August 24th and Sunday, August 25th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform and the F-35 fighter demonstration team will make its first appearance at the air show.
